I would join the Humane The upper classes or a local rescue organization. PETA has a broader goal than just selection cats. In addition, PETA doesn’t believe that cats must be kept as pets.

If you care about cats, PETA isn’t for you. They ultimately want to abolish pet ownership and have been linked to terrorist organizations.
Joining the local ASPCA is a better thought.

PETA puts down 96% of the animals (cats and dogs) that they recieve, yet have a multi million dollar MARKETING budget.
Pure crap.
They are a BS company.

Stay away from PETA. They are a radical terrorist group who have caused more harm to animals than excellent. If you want to help, volunteer at your local shelter.

You don’t want to become a PETA member. PETA is the extreme, they are against owning animals as pets and support people who firebomb medical research clinics that save peoples lives.
If you want to do something to help cats you can look into supporting local cat rescues, or your local humane the upper classes. If you want to fight the homeless cat problem see if you have a local Trap-Neuter-Return program, which traps feral strays fixes them, gives them their shots, and then sets them free. If you have one locally support that, if you don’t have one you can talk to your local vets, humane the upper classes, and cat rescues about setting one up.

I am a PETA member myself;but I would suggest channeling your
money and energy to the local rescue groups. We are on the “front
line” taking in pets and offering “no kill adoption services.FYI:Peta does
not take in animals.

Do NOT join PETA, they don’t care about house pets (or strays). You really need to go onto that peta kills animals site that Ruby mentions and read about their practices and kill rate you will be appalled! Your hard work need to be directed towards a group that really cares about animals.

P.E.T.A. does take in animals but they euthanize them rather that see them adopted out as pets.
P.E.T.A. is a huge fraud. ( SEE LINK )
