Is it animal cruelty if I refuse to give my cat bottled water even if I only drink bottled water?
I mаkе mу cat drink tap water. Iѕ tһіѕ considered animal cruelty? I live іח tһе same town аѕ a midical manufacturer аחԁ last year medicine leaked іחtο ουr water system causing quite a few illnesses ѕο I flat out refuse tο drink tap water frοm around here. Tһе company, Pfizer, paid a small fine аחԁ really didn't mаkе аחу hard work tο mаkе sure іt doesn't happen again, bυt I still mаkе mу cat drink tһіѕ water. Iѕ tһаt considered animal cruelty οr חοt?

I really don’t reckon it is. I give all my pets jump water now, but my parents told me that when they were young and had pets, they always gave them tap water and they lived long. That’s not because they give their pets tap water though, it’s just because their pets had basic needs and all.

No. Not charitable your cat water is animal cruelty. If the problem was last year, the water is most likely clean by now.

It would be silly to give your cat bottled water if it would be content to drink the same water that other cats drink. Animals are okay with intake and drinking whatever they can find. If you cared enough to question though it shows you really like your cat. Hope this helped.

Any tap water (from any city) is going to have some traces of things in it. I have always fed my pets tap water, and they are fine. It’s not abuse by any stretch to make them drink tap water, but it is fine to make them drink bottled.

It’s not cruel to give your cat tap water. If it’s really that much of a concern for you, you could always get a filter.
