Is it against the animal rights law, or just pure animal cruelty to breed a dog every time it’s in season?

I јυѕt want tο know іf tһеrе іѕ anything going against breeding a dog ѕау еνеrу 6 months (іf іt comes іחtο heat еνеrу 6 months). I personally rесkοח іt's animal cruelty аחԁ tһеrе mυѕt bе a law against people breeding tһеіr dogs еνеrу time tһеу come іחtο season bе іt еνеrу 6 months οr 12 months.

  1. don’t reckon so

  2. I agree it must be animal cruelrt, but it is not by law. I know a woman that breeds chihuahuas every cycle starting at 1 year ancient and she thinks she is one of the most ethical breeders out there. No way. She must not own a dog or any pet, much less be breeding them. She has an 8 year ancient that has had about 15-16 litters of pups. And doesn’t see anything incorrect with continuing to breed her.

  3. no its not,or else we would be in distress, because that’s what i do for a income is breed dogs.i also breed horses.it brings a fantastic deal of money

  4. No, there is no law that prohibits that. It must be hard on a dog’s body life bred so often. Dogs shouldn’t be treated that way.

  5. To my way of thinking it’s cruel. These dogs are entitled to a life not just existing to breed. Working in an animal rescue shelter I have seen these poor dogs have the life bred out of them, literally, and then dumped when they can no longer breed. This of course does not apply to all breeders – just the money hungry ones. I hope you never have to see a poor dog with a vaginal displacement from too much breeding. It’s just dreadful – no-one will adopt them and then they end up life euthanised.
Also, there’s no reason to breed every cycle. There are enough dogs out there looking for homes already without adding to the problem.

  6. while it does seem cruel to breed them every cycle it does cut down on the risk of pyometras. but in my opinion, if you are going to breed them then you do need to stop with 5 or 6 litters. but im just a lowly non breeder person
