   Frogs are reptiles, sonny. And if you killed all the creatures you mentioned and it did not quench your thirst for blood so much that you want our okay to kill some more you may as well tell the police to place you away right now. You may be a series killer in the making.

   Torture of any animal is considered cruel. Gigging them for intake is not, but. And let’s not get into the mouse, cockroach, ant thing please. That’s just stupid.

   I’m sure that the frogs, cockroaches, ants, mice and ‘ferrets’ would reckon so.

   If you do it for fun and entertainment its animal cruelty…And sick

   I reckon mammals have different laws.

   But that makes me wonder why people are allowed to feed mice to their pet snakes.

   Torturing anything is cruel. But if you have to kill frogs because there are too many of them on your property then I guess that would be okay.

   All of these animals are considered pests or rodents, so killing them shouldn’t be a crime.

   But, torturing a mouse or frog might be considered cruelty since these animals are sometimes kept as pets, especially since mice have shown to be somewhat gifted in lab tests.

   I would fervently recommend that you refrain from torturing any kind of animal, not just for legality’s sake, but for your own personal safety. Most people have a strong hatred for those who torture animals and might try to hurt someone if they’re caught doing it.

    You cant make huge generalizations.

    Each state enacts their own laws. They all define it differently. But you CAN do the research and within the law it specifies exactly what type of animal, what the charge will be and any exceptions.

    Some states define animal differently. Some make exceptions or policy for livestock. some exempt pests from the law. Some set a maximum penalty. In some states its a misdemeanor, some a felony. some states specify human companion pets as the only recipient of protection. if that frog is on the endangered species list, you are in a world of hurt.

    so do the research for your specific thoughts.

    Well, it’s unlawful to place them on a fishing hook where I live.. Don’t know about animal cruelty though.. Personally, I have distress sometimes taking them damn fish off the hook.. They make noises sometimes like it hurts. Not gonna give up fishing but still.. Just don’t like that sh… and know why people complain about the cruelty thing..
