   Ive always thought about that too, but I guess since a plant doesnt make noise and go on its own, they dont care about them. Its still killing something, but either way, something has to die for us to eat…

   Hi. Animals can feel and be frightened. Plants, as a rule, cannot. You must eat a lot of eggs!

   I reckon if we were’nt held to eat animals than God would’nt have made them out of meat.

   As far as biologically they are differntly complex and evolved. Plants DO go just much more slowly than we do. They have also been shown to exhibit stress and dread of extrememe heat and life cut, etc. Some religions will clarify reincarnation and all income things have a soul but one manifestation is more evolved than another and therefore it is unethical to eat more evolved creatures. But basically the majority of plant food we consume does not KILL the plant. Fruit life the perfect example, it does not hurt the tree to eat the apple.

   I like vegetarians who point out that they eat their food LIVE and no one complains.

   The right test life HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT BEING CONSUMED? or eaten? (whether in a pot life cooked by cannibals or swallowed by a huge snake or devoured by a large beast or even consumed by flesh intake virus, ants or beetles.”
