Because they’re idiots who reckon animals have more rights than people. I could go on and on about how dreadful PETA is, but I don’t have time.

Because they are an extremest group that thinks pets are life “enslaved”.
My small “slave” is quick asleep on his own recliner!

People Intake Tasty Animals want to eat them, that’s why.

Just to be clear…
They want to make it unlawful for EVERYONE ELSE to own pets. It’s just fine for them to keep “companion animals”.
Just 1 in a long list of hypocrisy PETA puts out.
They’re a bunch of directionless nutjobs that do more harm than excellent. Avoid them, and all extremist groups. And whatever you do, don’t drink the kool-aid.

they reckon people must not exploit animals. Well my exploited animal just finished intake, had her hair brushed, had her walk, and tomorrow will get a free medical check up, grooming and new toy.while everybody has to do chores, she just watches or goes to sleep. PETA must protest my dog for exploting me!!

PETA has given thousands of dollars to Earth Liberation Front, Animal Liberation Front, and other domestic terrorists who burn down buildings, etc. The founder of PETA, Ingrid Newkirk makes no apology for PETA’s support of militants who break the law, writing that “no passage for social change has ever succeeded without ‘the militarism component’.” Of the Animal Liberation Front, she writes: “Thinkers may prepare revolutions, but bandits must carry them out.”
They are extremists who work against legitimate medical research and who want to raise food costs, that the poor cannot afford. For instance, they demand that chickens be raised in a way that would triple the cost of raising them. The poor could not afford this. Of course, if PETA had their way, they’d force us all to be vegetarians.

the real question is does the human own the cat, or the cat own the human?

they’re hypocrites. all the peta people i know take s**t care of their animals (and i don’t know ONE that doesn’t have animals. usually cats.), and one even smacked a ferret for play nipping. they’re just morons.
