Cruelty to animals?

Its a SPORT its been way before someone had the stupid thought of protecting animals, while there are millions of babies killed everyday.

You are really right and I subscribe to that. It is cruel and dreadful what they do to the bulls and they must certainly come out of that cruel tradition. It was also a tradition to burn ppl, yet it was broken for obvious reasons. Why cant they just stop this cruel practice too???

I’ve studied animal science at Uni , during a vet unit last year i came to the very real conclusion that PETA are bunch of hypocritical morons.
PLease don’t follow their lead make your own opinions!
If the bulls are given adequate food ,water , shelter , vet attention if necessary and freedom of their natural behavior then they are ok , if not then that needs to be altered.

it seems to me that PETA does not always have the animals best appeal in mind. for instance, PETA has been the #1 organization IN FAVOR of the eradication and euthanization of any pit bull type dog, but when Michael Vick gets place in the hot-seat for torturing and killing the same breed of dog that PETA wants destoyed, they in such a two faced effort stand up for the pit bull!!
PETA likes to euthanize pets. PETA’s right belief is that no one must eat meat, and no one own pets. i know that alot of people that read this will not agree, but folks, please do some research into PETA before you give into their evil and hypocritical lies.
as for the killing of bulls, they have tried fro years to stop it, but i believe that its harder to ban what people believe is their right and heritage in certain countries.

PETA is on record many era over for denouncing Bull Fighting. They do not have substancial presences in either Mexico or Spain. They use their resources to fight thier fight closer to home. If people were interested in taking the PETA passage to Mexico and Spain, they need only contact PETA and discuss their options.
Personally, I don’t see the daring fighting tired animals, or animals that have had their horns shaved, or penned in a ring that disadvantages them. There is something to be said about the shear stupidity of taking on a healty male, who has not been neutered or hobbled, drugged or exercised prior to a fight in it’s own natural habitat, where the human cannot run behind a wood wall of jump a fence.
I have been to both countries and discussed this come forth with local nationals. For some unknown reason, none ever took me up on my challenge.

I was always told the the meat from the bulls went to the poor so this is why I never speak out against bull fighting. The way the bulls are treated is not very nice, but it is a sport steeped in tradition and if it benefits the poor I say go for it. I am tired of animal right activists loving animals more than people anyway and PETA are a bunch of hypocrites to boot.
Especially about this pit bull thing as mentioned above. I have owned several pit bulls and they were all well trained and very well socialized and some of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet.

you my freind have a very excellent pint i like animals and i have seen that cruel act of violence on the tele and how can people cheere for such a thing when the bull gets stabbed people cheere but when the matador gets mauled people booe and sreem out of fright just becasue a creture cannot speak out its feelings it dosent mean we can do such things.PETA is just a highly publicised organization where they have control over the stars or celebrity’s PETA has this chart of which celebrity is the worst animal lover or the star with the most fur so why cant they adopt that same technique to matadors why cant they if any peta member sees this i hope you do something about it even in youre own small way please

Here is the point that PETA is trying to make regarding various types of bull sporting:
It just simply is not safe for the bull OR for the human. The bulls are scarred into ‘acting’ and making entertainment and humans have been hurt copious era. Its cruel and stupid for both parties.
Part of life or not, its barbaric, and risky sporting. Its also unnecessary.
