Why does Peta think Animals should have the same rights as humans?

Dοеѕ PETA rесkοח tһеу mυѕt һаνе tһе same rights аƖѕο? WουƖԁ someone frοm Peta Ɩеt a mosquito give tһеm malaria instead οf kіƖƖ іt? Jυѕt doesn't mаkе sense.

I don’t really care about Peta, respect for animals must be a universal ideal of most excellent people.
Animals must be respected, mosquitos are different because of the malaria thing and because we don’t test on mosquitos or keep them caged for majority of their lives just to kill them. I have nothing against intake meat, but animals were not place on this earth in cages. If it was natural and we were hunting them in the wild when they’ve had a natural life outside and killed them promptly and ate them, that’s different, because the animal is in the wild and has a chance to escape the way nature intended and also because its more humane than keeping them in a cage their entire lives and breeding them. A mosquito spreads diseases and is a blood sucker. Majority of the animals we eat aren’t even predators. Animals must be treated with respect.
I’m not christian, but for those who are, it says in the bible that humans have dominion. Many people reckon that means we can treat them any way we want. Dominion is just another word for authority. As in, we are in charge over them. So it’s our job to make sure they are treated with respect, even if we are intake them. It goes on to state in the bible: “Proverbs 12:10 “A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.”

Most chronically insane people don’t make sense anyway. If you were to take every member of PETA and drop them all independently in the middle of the wilderness somewhere, I guarantee that they would either A) Die of starvation from their own stupidity, or B) Eventually end up intake animals in the realization of their basic needs of survival and nutrition.

I dont reckon they want them to have the same rights as humans. But they must not be allowed to be treated like a disposable paper cup. They must be treated humanely and not be used as sport if they are pets. We domesticated dogs and cats and farm animals. We cant treat them the same way you would treat a wild animal, like for hunting purposes i mean. Also, its cruel to abuse them, kick them around, use them for worthless experimentation, such as for make up. What is so incorrect with treating animals humanely? Are people that cold and evil that they cant see why this is incorrect? Yes God gave man domain over the animal kingdom, but he did not say slaughter an animal and sell off its tusks or fur for profit. He did not say pull up the gorgeous creatures of the sea and allocate them to die a long awkward death so you can sell them as souveneir trinkets. Does this make sense to anyone? How can you make stupid comparisons like letting a mosquito give you malaria? Of course thats not what it means, dont be an idiot.

All humans have the right not to be abused… animals must have that same right
