What do you think of PETA trying to get Horse drawn carriages outlawed in Central Park?
Tһеу аrе sponsoring a bill іח NYC tο turn Horse Drawn Carriage operators іחtο pedicab drivers? Tһіѕ іѕ ridiculous! tһеrе һаνе bееח horse drawn carriages іח central park ѕіחсе tһе park wаѕ opened. Dο уου rесkοח PETA іѕ going tο far? Wһаt ԁο уου rесkοח PETA wіƖƖ ɡο wіtһ next? Mаkіחɡ seeing eye dogs unlawful?
I Bleed Sarcasm: i аm tοο. i believe tһаt animals mυѕt bе treated wіtһ respect, bυt still! Horses аrе mаԁе tο pull carts, аחԁ bе ridden. іt іѕ tһеіr purpose аחԁ those animals аrе treated very well.

what’s next,the amish?

if PETA was in the 1800′s banning the riding of horses, they would have been hung and shot, that’s what i believe must be their fate today

The PETA bunch is ludicrous. They are jumping from one ridiculous extreme to another.
What reasonable person with a brain could take them seriously?

They are a cult.

I try not to reckon about PETA. And yes, they do believe that aid dogs for people with disabilities must be eliminated. They oppose all domesticated animals as an “aberration”. That includes dogs and cats as well as cattle, chickens etc.

I reckon P.E.T.A need banning outright for life hypocritical frauds + for funding domestic terrorist groups + promoting terrible science.

i’m going to go club a baby seal in a protest against peta!!!

If horse drawn carriages have been in Central Park since the park was opened, that is not a reason to continue having them. That is equally ridiculous as adage people have owned slaves since the beginning of this country so they must be able to continue to own slaves.
Horses are not made to pull carts or be ridden.
Your question clearly is a rant.

PETA says our dogs and cats are miserable prisoners in our homes, that “captivity” is inherently cruel. Why, then, does our dog always want to sit in our laps? Why does he always come running, tail wagging, to greet us with lots of licks whenever we come home?
I seriously doubt that a typical prisoner in a jail is as pleased to see his warder when he walks by the cells in the prison or jail in which the prisoner is confined.
PETA is a fund-raising organization. Its “executives” travel extensively, visiting exotic places around the world, income high on the hog on the contributions it receives from people who have been duped into believing that the organization is looking out for the welfare of animals. Yet every year PETA euthanizes hundreds of unwanted dogs and cats. If its members are so concerned about the welfare of animals, why don’t they adopt these orphaned animals and let them live out their lives in comfort?
One of PETA’s founders got his start in the animal welfare business by breaking into a ape research center in Silver Springs, Maryland. He and his cohorts unrestricted many monkeys that had been infected with serious diseases for research purposes. Those diseased monkeys posed a serious threat to people in the area, but PETA seems to reckon people are less vital than animals. Even a mosquito has a right to life that is at least equal to a human’s.
People who make negative comments about PETA have been known to receive credible threats of violence from some of its members and supporters. It is regarded as a terrorist organization by many who know what kinds of activities it engages in.
PETA members who threaten those who do not impart their views must be locked up and fed nothing but grass sandwiches. As long as there are no bugs in the grass that could die from life eaten alive, the PETAphiles must be pleased.
Don’t laugh about the enslaved seeing eye dogs. I’m sure PETA will get around to that sooner or later.
