  1. you’ve must have just started or you’re not intake the well balanced vegan diet.

    more info here:

  2. I found that with stopping meat consumption that my metabolic system increased considerably.

so i started intake more, and then i felt fine.

you may be missing something specific from your diet like iron or protien, but my suggestion would be to just eat more. make sure your getting iron (leafy greens, spinach) and protein (beans, legumes, nuts, seeds).

fruit during they day is a excellent readily available source of energy.

Muesli with dinner is also a fantastic long lasting source of energy for the next day.

  3. I take One a Day with Energy Vitamin….Its in the green bottle..Its like drinking a red bull without really drinking it..

  4. When I was diagnosed with Evil Anemia, the first question everyone questioned was whether I was vegetarian. You may need Vitamin B12 supplements. Vitamin B12 is found in meat and dairy products and is essential to the manufacture of blood and the health of your central nervous system. Question your doctor if you must have your B12 level tested.

  5. I would reccomend Luna bars and soy milk for energy. The vegetables that give you most energy are potatoes, corn and peas. Don’t eat too much corn because it is hard to digest. Vegan pizza though it is hard to find can give you a lot of energy.

  6. I was on a macrobiotic diet a couple of years ago & salute anyone who can stick to it. I was inspired by a supporter & the book “The Hip Chick’s Guide to Macrobiotics” (from the library, but then bought it).
Like the book said, I felt energized with having tempura, which you can make at home. You can experiment making tempura out of all kinds of ingredients. Tofu is tasty, and so is sage (though you wouldn’t reckon of it first). As long as you have the oil at a right like (350 F), the food will not be too oily & you won’t feel blah afterwards.
Certain root vegetables were also fantastic, like burdock. A bit of an umeboshi plum might be helpful, too, like in some hot water (though I would stress in moderation – too much would make me irritable).
If this doesn’t answer your question, I would suggest that you read more or try to find others close to where you live who have more experience (for example, there’s a macrobiotic restaurant close to where I live that was helpful). I recommend that book & Aveline Kushi’s “Complete Guide to Macrobiotic Cooking.”
I hope you feel better soon & are able to stick to this way of life. Blessings & peace :)

  7. Even the Dalai Lama himself did not stay a vegetarian due to health reasons. See your physician for a total analysis of what you need for optimum energy and health.

  8. Feeling tired is pretty common in vegans who’re not aware of the essential foods we need to take for a well-balanced diet. I suspect your diet consists too much of carbohydrates (bread, rice, pasta, starchy foods like potatos and yams, etc), and not enough protein.

Try getting your protein intake from beans, legumes, peas, and nuts on a daily basis. This would help build up your energy level, as muslces don’t just need glucose to work, but protein as well, since most of our cells are protein-based essentially.

Also, you might be lacking in vitamin B12, which is a major common problem amongst pure vegans, as it is one of the vitamins that is hard to get enough of from plant sources. Vitamin B12 is vital for the body to metabolize enough energy to keep you going. You might want to try taking some multivitamin supplements to help with that.

In addition to these, do drink lots of clear fluids and fruits and vegies of all colours, not just sticking to specific foods everyday. This is to ensure that you get a variety of essential vitamins and minerals that your body needs for optimal health.

    excellent luck!

  9. Make sure that you are getting enough calories and intake a balanced and varied diet. A regular source of B12 is essential and can be found in fortified cereals, soy and rice milks and in supplement form. Anything with too much sugar or low quality fats will slow you down. Eat as many raw fruits and vegetables as you can in addition to the grain and legume-based foods that provide you with complex carbohydrates and protein.

There have been vegan Olympic gold medalists and a vegan woman can make an ENTIRELY NEW,HEALTHY HUMAN BEING INSIDE OF HER. Many of these children stay vegan and grow up to be perfectly healthy adults. So just keep physically educated about what you eat and don’t let anyone tell you that a veg diet is lacking anything essential.).htm

A responsible vegan ALWAYS studies the subject of their own health and how to keep their body completely provided for in every sense.
To neglect their body is to define a plant-based diet as unhealthy and is the opposite of selection the animals.

A balanced plant-based diet includes grains(breads, pasta, rice, cereal), legumes(soy, beans, peas, lentils), fruit and vegetables.
Life vegan can be an art, one whose challenge is to take things that involve the suffering of the innocent and change them into something free of cruelty.
