How else can a vegan get iron and protein and other nutrients other than tofu?
I recently became a vegan (wіtһ 21 years οf intake meat οח a daily basis).
I һаνе tried tofu іח еνеrу way I саח, аחԁ I јυѕt саחחοt stomach іt. It literally mаkеѕ mе sick.

Iron: Pumpkin seeds, green leafy veggies, beans
Protein: Beans, soy milk,hummus, nuts

Iron can be found in a lot of leafy greens, spinach is the best.
You can cook it into any veggies soup and it is really yummy!
Protein can be found in must nuts, seeds, legumes, etc.
Flax seed is a very excellent source of complete protein and if groupnd can be baked into anyhting or stirred into smoothies! I eat 2 tablespoons per day.

Meat contains protein, iron, zinc, and the b vitamins riboflavin, thiamin and b-12..
Protein: beans, nuts, seed, lentils, potatoes, etc. Outside of famine conditions, protein deficiency is all but unheard of. If you consume enough calories, you get enough protein.
Iron: beans, whole grains, fortified breakfast cereals.
Zinc: beans, nuts, whole grains, fortified breakfast cereals, and dairy products.
Riboflavin: dark green leafy vegetables, mushrooms, asparagus and broccoli.
Thiamin: whole grains, nuts, sunflower seeds, peas, milk, cauliflower, spinach and legumes.
B-12: eggs, dairy products, organic vegetables and fortified breakfast cereals
