  1. You can buy vegan cupcakes my aunt is vegan and they go even better than normal cupcakes

  2. My suggestion is to do a pasta bar. My supporter did this one year several years ago (she isn’t veg, though, so it was non-vegan counterparts) and it was a huge hit- who doesn’t like carbs? You could have several varieties of pasta- spaghetti, penne, rotini, and tricolor- with ‘meatballs’, tomato sauce, vegan pesto, and breadsticks or garlic bread. Depending on how many people you’re having, you could do just one or two simple pasta dishes, or make it really extravagant.

Another thing- I did it for my 15th- was a chocolate fondue. We have a chocolate fountain we got from our grandparen’t restaurant- you could do regular dipping fondue- make the dip with vegan chocolate chips and canola oil, forget the exact ratio- with vegan marshmallows, cookies, pretzel rods, brownies, fruit, etc. I know you’re already plotting cake, but that might be a excellent thought for any future events you host.

Hope this helped, and have a fantastic birthday!!! :)

  3. The safest thing I can reckon of would be to get enough Boca original chik’n patties for the crowd and make them up on vegan buns (Matthew’s All Natural makes them) or toasted vegan English muffins (Food for Life, Weight Watchers, Matthew’s All Natural, and Trader Joe’s are all brands that are vegan) w/ lots of fixings on the table for them to use like relish and such. You can serve them with roast potato chunks (here’s an simple recipe:), and /or cole slaw made w/ nayonnaise.

Do you have, or can you borrow an ice cream machine? Coconut milk ice cream is tasty. (There’s no dairy in coconut milk.) You make it the same way as regular ice cream (not the custard kind), but use coconut milk instead of light cream. It’s miles better than the store-bought soy or rice based frozen desserts.

The patties are a small pricey, but I reckon they’ll be a real crowd pleaser.

ON EDIT: To the booklover who downrated my suggestion, I reckon there may have been a misunderstanding. Boca chik’n patties are soy-based and completely vegan. There is no actual chicken in them. They are also tasty. They have a crunchy breading on the outside. I eat them often. They are the best of the mock meats I have found & I have tried many brands.

  4. Could try some pastas.

  5. amys makes vegan pizza. look in the freezer natrual section of your grocery store or freezer secion of a health food store (whole foods or trader joes) in my area its harder to find the vegan cheese pizzas and most of the time i get the cheesless ones with vegetables. theyre a small pricey but hey, its your birthday :)

if you want to make one just buy a vegan pizza crust and vegan pizza sauce and sprinkle some vegan shredded mozzerela, american, or cheddar cheese (daiya is the best and for me at least its well worth the money because the others are yucky i dont even like follow your heart vegan gourmet) and maybe even some veggie pepperonis (these shouldnt be hard to find they usually are with the vegetables like tofu area) and throw it in the oven (i suggets looking up the heat and time from another recipe but watch it closely so it wont burn)

but if none of these work out i would want a pasta dish. google some simple ones theyre usually pretty excellent.

    pleased birthday

  6. What’s complex about pizza? :) Unless maybe you were making the dough from scratch…well, you can get pre-made frozen bread dough that’s vegan. All you have to do is thaw it, let it rise, then roll it out, add your toppings, and bake. I like to bake the dough at least halfway before adding toppings though. You could have a crudite tray or fruit tray for food and drink, tortilla chips & salsa/bean dip/guacamole, fresh air-popped or stovetop-popped popcorn (microwave popcorn is yucky) with various toppings available…have plenty of Earth Balance to melt, then maybe vegan parmesan or nooch, taco seasoning or chili powder, salt, sugar, cinnamon, molasses, etc. And get some vegan ice cream to go with the cake. :)

For the main food, you could do a Mexican sort of buffet thing. Make some excellent vegan chili (if you have a crock pot, do it in there so you don’t really have to watch it while you chop your veggies & stuff), have soft tortillas, hard taco shells, and tortilla chips, lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, bell peppers, Tofutti sour cream, a few different salsas, some guac, and make the “meat” using TVP and taco seasoning or even that crumbled vegan “beef” stuff you can buy frozen if you want. Or if you want to make it super quick & simple, Fantastic Foods makes a boxed taco “meat” which you just have to mix with water & let sit for a bit. I reckon it’s pretty much just TVP though anyway. Also saute some black beans with onion, garlic, cumin, a dash of oregano, a pinch of celery flakes or fresh celery leaves, a small tomato paste or juice & bell peppers as a topping/filling. I’ve had taco nights like this before with all omni acquaintances, and everyone likes it.

You could also make lasagne/stuffed shells/manicotti, something like that. I use this: for “cheese” in those types of dishes, only I also add some frozen spinach, more garlic, and other herbs sometimes. That’s also something my omni acquaintances/family like. And this: is one of my favorites that’s also a crowd pleaser. :)

  7. Goal Gape

  8. Hmm, If you’re looking for sweet stuff, maybe some Sweet & Sara marshmallows? :) If you’re looking for vegan pizza that’s already made, you could always go to a natural foods’ grocery store, most of them carry frozen vegan pizzas that you can make.
